MICROPIGMENTATION

PERMANENT MAKEUP

Micropigmentation is a process that involves using tiny micro-needles to place permanent tattoo ink or semi-permanent pigment on the skin for cosmetic reasons. The look of dense natural hair follicles is created during a scalp micropigmentation procedure while cosmetic semi-permanent makeup micropigmentation involves enhancing the lips, brows, or lash lines of the eyes with complimentary colors.

MICROBLADING BROWS (NEW SET)

What is brow microblading?

Manual microblading is a process that involves tiny, fine-point needles (instead of a tattoo gun) that make up a small disposable blade and handle (picture a very small tool that looks like a rat-tail comb) to scratch and deposit pigment simultaneously under your skin. The result? Realistic-looking brow hairs that don't wash off.

Is microblading a tattoo?

Yes, but also, no. Unlike tattoos that last forever, microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattooing (keep reading if you wanna know how long it lasts). For microblading, Piret uses a hand tool that lets her create thinner, more precise, hairlike strokes that aren’t as deeply ingrained into the skin (compared to, say, hairlike strokes created by a tattoo gun). The pigment also differs from that of a tattoo because (1) it’s only semi-permanent, which means your body eventually ends up metabolizing it so it fades away, and (2) the dye particles are less concentrated in microblading ink than in the ink of a traditional tattoo.

How long does microblading last?

Microblading usually lasts 1-3 years depending on your skin type (oilier skin types tend to fade the fastest),  clients should go back after a few weeks (your artist will direct you) for a touch-up and to check-in to make sure they're happy with the end result. You typically won't need a touch-up for 12 months.

POWDERED BROWS

What is Ombre Brows?

Ombre brows, also known as Powdered Brows, are a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that creates a soft shaded brow pencil look. This amazing technique, first developed in Asia, has been around for decades and has been gradually improving over the years. It gives great definition & depth to the eyebrows. It is particularly recommended for women with oily skin or combination skin or anyone who fills in their brows regularly with pencil or shadow.

What is the Difference between Ombre Powder Brows & Microblading?

The biggest difference between the two semi-permanent eyebrow styling techniques is how the pigment is deposited into the skin. Microblading uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, whereas Ombre brows are done using a machine. The ombre powder technique is a bit less invasive than that of microblading.

On Average, How Long Does Ombre Brows Last?

Ombre brows can last anywhere from two to five years. The retention will depend on a number of factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, health condition, etc.

COMBO BROWS (MICROBLADING & POWDER)

WHAT ARE COMBO BROWS ?

Combo brows is a combination of two forms of semi-permanent techniques: microblading and powder brows (shading). Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool around the border of the brow to give the brow a natural look. The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a permanent makeup device to give the brow its fullness.
