Scar Revision
A scar revision is a procedure done on a scar to alter the appearance of the scar. Scars may be formed for many different reasons, including as a result of infections, surgery, injuries, or inflammation of tissue.
Scars can be removed using a variety of treatments. Booking a consultation at Nouveau Laser, we will discuss options and expectations best suited for your concern. Managing expectations are important as your experience with us is important. Treatment of scars take time and patience and may be permanent or temporary. They can be improved and sometimes removed completely.
The same modalities used for Skin Rejuvenation are often the same options we use for scar revision. Although we do our best to accommodate every client’s concern, there may be times that we refer a client to see a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon for scar removal as some may need to be surgically moved which is out of our scope.
